Today Is Not A Holiday

To my New Orleans friends and family,
It's okay if you don't want to watch, read, or participate in any of the Katrina events. It's also okay if you want to go to the second line then call up a public official and cuss their ass out. Whatever you decide to do today is the right decision. You went through the struggle so the choice is yours. After a long emotional week I think I am going to sit this one out.

OMG. I was thrilled when you won the Ashley Morris award at the Rising Tide Conference on Sat. You are the best. You have helped more folks than you know during these last 5 years.

I sat this one out and finishing my Katrina posts is proving to be, very hard.
I have the Spike Lee documentary downloaded...I'll watch it in about three months.

You certainly deserve the award. Only thing is, MORE PEOPLE will know about my secret blog. So, when ya gonna write for "Treme?"
